Welcome to the Snowflake Unified School District Federal Programs Department

At Snowflake Unified School District, our Federal Programs Department is dedicated to enhancing student learning and achievement, strengthening district-wide parental engagement, and supporting our educators in providing high-quality educational experiences.

Our department oversees a variety of programs funded through the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and state allocations. These programs are designed to help schools effectively plan, implement, and evaluate initiatives that promote academic success for all students.

The Federal Programs Director plays a vital role in:

  • Ensuring equitable, high-quality education for every student.

  • Providing support structures for parents, educators, and the broader community.

  • Complying with state and federal regulations to benefit all district stakeholders.

The primary goal of Federal Programs is to ensure that every child has an equal opportunity to succeed academically by:

  • Managing Federal Title Funds within SUSD.

  • Offering technical assistance related to federal program funding.

  • Supporting schools in developing and implementing their continuous improvement plans.

  • Ensuring compliance for federal spending and state programmatic monitoring.

Federal funding allows Snowflake Unified to implement evidence-based programs that enrich and supplement our strong educational foundation. These funds provide essential services that enhance student learning experiences and contribute to the overall success of our school community.
